About the Pitch Competition
Career Town's Start-Up Pitch Competition gives young innovators a platform to validate ideas, practice pitching and receive mentorship from industry judges. The focus is on problem identification, viable solutions, and a clear plan to reach users.
Objectives
- Encourage entrepreneurial thinking among students
- Teach lean validation and pitch-building skills
- Provide mentorship and constructive feedback
Format & Deliverables
Suggested structure — flexible to organisers' needs.
- Submission: One-page pitch summary + optional demo or prototype link.
- Prelims: 3-minute elevator pitch (slides optional).
- Semi-finals: 6–8 minute pitch + Q&A (judges ask questions).
- Finals: 8–10 minute pitch, investor-style Q&A, and live feedback.

Mentorship & Prize Support
